A whole new brand.
Pulse was looking to completely overhaul their brand to reflect work they had done on what was at the core of their business. They had a great understanding of their values, their personality and their vision for the future and needed a way to creatively articulate this culture through their brand and communicate who they are to their customers and people.
Thinking it through.
We held a brand workshop with the key stakeholders to drill down into the thinking behind the company. Following the workshop, we analysed responses to develop a succinct creative brief for our design team.
The Chinese tangram.
We explored the idea of bringing clarity to complexity, a key component of the Pulse business offering. A significant element of this was the ‘coming together’ of the many different and potentially disparate pieces. Inspired by the Chinese tangram, we wanted to create a device that illustrated composite order and organisation.

Creating a visual language.
Using the traditional seven shapes with a fresh colour palette to create the device as a whole, we created shapes for their values, mission and vision from the pieces of the puzzle.
Supporting their expansion.
The concept demonstrated their ability to take the many and varied components of a particular project and bring them together to deliver a bespoke, tailored service.
Pulse Consult have announced their expansion plans for over 125 more staff and the brand is integral to take them from strength to strength.
